Role Overview
The National Remote Clinical Support Team Member provides remote administrative and clinical support that helps healthcare operations run smoothly. In this full-time role, you will work with members, providers, and internal clinical teams to coordinate care, manage referrals, respond to inquiries, and support review processes. The position calls for strong communication, speed, accuracy, and comfort handling a large volume of member and provider interactions in a healthcare setting. It is a work-from-home opportunity for candidates who can meet remote-work expectations and deliver dependable service.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, GED, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old.
- At least 2 years of customer service experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in the healthcare sector and working with health insurance.
- Working knowledge of MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with schedule flexibility during business hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Pacific.
Responsibilities
- Handle member intake work and ensure requests are processed accurately and on time.
- Partner with hospitals, clinics, facilities, and clinical teams to coordinate services for members and providers.
- Manage incoming and outgoing referrals, prior authorizations, and supporting documents.
- Assist clinical staff by organizing documents and helping route cases for Clinical Coverage Review.
- Respond to questions and resolve concerns from members and healthcare providers in an efficient manner.
- Support care coordination tasks such as appointment scheduling and arranging ancillary services.
- Maintain strong productivity and attention to detail while working in a high-volume service environment.
- Help create a positive member experience through clear, professional, and informative communication.
- Follow company standards, including confidentiality requirements and data security practices.
