About the Role
Better Collective is looking for a Video Editor & Producer, Partnerships, to help grow the visibility and performance of its video content across partner platforms and digital channels. You will work with cross-functional teams to create engaging video experiences at the intersection of sports, media, betting, and technology, with a strong focus on syndicating premium betting content for discovery, reach, and audience engagement.
Responsibilities
- Repurpose long-form videos and podcasts into short, engaging clips designed for social media performance.
- Develop custom video segments for recurring shows as well as standalone video-on-demand content.
- Prepare assets for distribution across partner channels, YouTube, Instagram, and similar digital platforms.
- Create thumbnails and supporting visuals that help increase engagement and click-through rates.
- Work closely with marketing, content, and technical teams to keep video work aligned with business objectives.
- Preserve brand consistency and messaging across all video deliverables.
- Track current trends and industry best practices in video creation, optimization, and distribution.
Requirements
- 1 to 3 years of hands-on experience in video editing and production.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Solid understanding of video distribution tactics, including YouTube optimization, social platform algorithms, and syndication workflows.
- Experience turning long-form content into Reels, Shorts, and TikToks.
- Working knowledge of Canva or Adobe Photoshop for thumbnail and visual asset creation.
- Strong interest in sports and familiarity with sports betting and prediction market audiences.
- Good storytelling ability and the flexibility to adapt content for different platforms and formats.
- Creative visual judgment and the ability to produce content that captures attention.
