About the role
In this position, you will support the Cloud AI team as a key administrative partner, helping keep day-to-day operations running smoothly and enabling managers and teammates to stay focused on strategic work. The role calls for someone who can spot needs early, handle shifting priorities confidently, and use strong judgment and communication skills to work across different functions and levels.
You will be part of a wider administrative function that supports meaningful work behind the scenes and helps teams stay organized, productive, and effective. Familiarity with Google products and services, along with the ability to adapt quickly to new tools and ways of working, will be important in succeeding here.
Eligibility and work authorization
Preference will be given to candidates who already have the right to work in Singapore and do not need visa sponsorship from Google.
Minimum qualifications
- At least 2 years of administrative experience in a technology or international setting, including core duties such as travel coordination, expense reporting, calendar handling, and facilities support.
Preferred qualifications
- Background in executive support, administrative operations, non-technical project coordination, or corporate event planning.
- Experience leading a project from the initial idea through to completion.
- Strong understanding of process, project, and program management principles, with the ability to apply them to operational challenges.
- Comfort with learning new tools and technologies quickly, and an interest in using digital tools and the internet to improve efficiency.
- Ability to communicate clearly and work collaboratively with a wide range of people and job functions.
- Ability to handle confidential business information with care and discretion.
Key responsibilities
- Manage calendars, keep schedules current, and prepare meetings for managers or teams with limited direction.
- Handle expense-related tasks with minimal supervision.
- Identify office space needs and help advocate for suitable solutions with minimal guidance.
- Coordinate internal and external programs and events, including logistics, in partnership with internal teams and outside vendors.
- Arrange travel and related coordination tasks with minimal guidance.
