Overview

JW Michaels & Co., a distinguished global alternative investment firm with over three decades of experience, is looking for a highly organized and detail-focused Administrative Assistant to support the Co-Founder and Chief Investment Officer (CIO). The company specializes in diverse long-term investments including direct private equity, venture and growth equity financings, focused public markets, real estate, and opportunistic deals. Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and manage a complex calendar for the CIO, keeping him well-informed of upcoming engagements and duties.
  • Coordinate intricate travel plans and agendas, preparing necessary documents for business trips.
  • Adhere to company policies on travel and expense management, collaborating with the Compliance team to secure necessary approvals.
  • Exercise sound judgment in resolving conflicts, act proactively to handle issues promptly, and ensure timely completion of projects within firm deadlines.
  • Organize and support team events, social activities, and outings.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Minimum five years’ experience supporting senior-level executives.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with strong attention to detail and capacity to prioritize diverse tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to build strong internal relationships.
  • Proficient written and verbal communication proficiency.
  • Proactive problem-solving aptitude coupled with sound decision-making capabilities.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong client service orientation.
  • Experience in global organizations handling international stakeholders.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Adobe Acrobat, and Zoom.
