Job description

Position Overview

This role involves managing new product introduction (NPI) projects primarily focused on board manufacturing. The candidate will oversee cross-functional coordination, scheduling, data analysis, and stakeholder communication to ensure smooth manufacturing planning and execution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain detailed NPI project schedules including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation for board production.
  • Act as the main interface with Contract Manufacturing teams, facilitating collaboration between engineering, manufacturing, quality assurance, and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Track NPI program progress, provide status updates, identify risks, and propose mitigation plans to maintain project momentum.
  • Create build plans and production schedules in partnership with business units and Contract Manufacturing planners.
  • Monitor manufacturing metrics such as yield, cycle time, and quality performance; pinpoint bottlenecks and suggest process enhancements.
  • Serve as the focal Business Unit contact for all NPI planning related activities, including supplier and manufacturer coordination.
  • Prepare and present status reports and updates to program leadership; ensure effective communication across global teams in different time zones.
  • Generate, update, and analyze reports tracking NPI progress and key performance indicators; leverage data-driven insights to recommend process improvements.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation related to NPI projects and lessons learned to improve future project efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Between 3 to 5 years of experience managing programs, manufacturing planning, or operations, preferably in NPI and board/electronics manufacturing environments.
  • Demonstrable success in leading cross-functional, complex projects.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Project; skilled in project management software.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and competency in data analysis and visualization.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills complemented by organized, detail-focused work habits.
  • Excellent English communication capabilities, both verbal and written, with the ability to handle multiple priorities independently.
  • Preferred qualifications include experience in semiconductor or electronics manufacturing, PCB/board production processes knowledge, certifications like PMP or Six Sigma, familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies, and proficiency in data analytics solutions such as Power BI or Tableau.
