Role overview
Join a welcoming retirement village team in Whangarei, where your work will help create memorable moments and improve day-to-day life for residents. This is a full-time, on-site position based at Jane Mander Retirement Village, with hours from Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 4:30 pm.
In this role, you will help shape a lively, engaging environment by delivering activities that support social connection, enjoyment, and wellbeing. You will also be part of a supportive workplace that values diversity, growth, and teamwork.
What you will do
- Design and run recreational, social, craft, and diversional activity programmes for residents.
- Help create an atmosphere that supports happiness, wellbeing, and a better quality of life.
- Collaborate closely with colleagues and contribute to the wider team.
What makes you a strong fit
The organisation is looking for someone with genuine empathy, excellent communication, and a dependable, warm, and professional approach. Experience in aged care would be an advantage, but it is not a strict requirement.
