Job description
Role Overview
Join a newly established team at Amazon focused on creating and launching innovative business models across the Middle East. As part of the A-Now / Ultra Fast Grocery division, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of rapid delivery services, operating a novel system that transforms how customers receive their orders.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily end-to-end operations across multiple smaller sites.
- Manage the last mile delivery operations to ensure timely customer order dispatch.
- Achieve customer-facing performance metrics while controlling costs and maintaining team safety and morale.
- Lead the performance management process for team members through coaching and feedback.
- Design and execute training and development programs specifically for delivery riders.
- Continuously enhance the delivery workflow to maintain consistent and improved delivery performance levels.
- Perform daily 4M and 5S audits within the delivery station to ensure operational standards.
- Act as a stand-in for the Area Manager when necessary.
About the Team
ACES Specialists serve as quality stewards by identifying process inefficiencies, implementing corrective actions, and enforcing consistent operational standards across multiple locations.
Amazon Now is the company's ultra-fast delivery platform, providing groceries and everyday essentials within 15 minutes to customers throughout the UAE.
Qualifications
- Fluent proficiency in English in speaking, writing, and reading.
- Completion of High School education or equivalent.
Preferred Experience
- Demonstrated strong analytical capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and effective communication skills.
- Experience in managing and troubleshooting logistics or network operations is advantageous.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
