About the Role

At Amazon's global Human Resources division known as People eXperience and Technology (PXT), the HR Business Partner serves as a key player in supporting a large workforce of hourly employees and their leaders. This role focuses on leadership development, enhancing employee experience, and operational excellence to drive business success in alignment with the company's mission of becoming Earth's Best Employer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Enhance site operational efficiency by analyzing systemic trends, addressing root causes with thoughtful judgment, and ensuring consistent and fair adherence to policies while mitigating risks.
  • Leverage data analytics to spot emerging patterns, forecast challenges, and apply proactive measures that improve employee experience and business outcomes.
  • Implement and oversee employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs, maintaining strong presence on the floor to detect early disengagement signals and collaborating with leaders on targeted improvements.
  • Coach business leaders on effective people management, including performance feedback, team development, and handling complex employee relations, fostering inclusive and high-performing teams.
  • Partner with leadership to promote equitable talent practices in hiring, development, and advancement, advocating for a workplace culture where every employee can thrive.
  • Drive the adoption of HR technologies, artificial intelligence, and self-service tools to optimize user experience and efficiency without compromising the quality of personal service during critical moments.

Daily Work Environment

Your typical day will balance strategic foresight and analytical decision-making, utilizing advanced data and AI tools. Responsibilities include coaching leaders on workforce and talent management, leading change initiatives, and collaborating across organizational levels to improve workplace effectiveness and employee engagement.

About the Team

Amazon Logistics (AMZL) aims to provide exceptional package delivery experiences by partnering with independent delivery businesses and contractors. The Delivery Station teams work creatively to ensure efficient delivery of millions of packages to their destinations.

Qualifications

  • Experience managing employee-centric processes such as onboarding, benefits, investigations, training, or talent development.
  • Bachelor's degree or a minimum of 2 years’ Amazon full-time employment experience.
  • At least 2 years of human resources experience or equivalent (including operations, retail, distribution, logistics, healthcare, hospitality, or manufacturing).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or MBA preferred.
  • Experience supporting operational settings such as manufacturing or distribution.
  • Proficiency in training and guiding others to effectively use HR technologies and digital platforms to enhance adoption and end-user satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated success in building productive partnerships with business leaders.
  • Experience managing employee relations and conducting workplace investigations.
  • Strong coaching and influence skills to help leaders navigate complex employee situations.
  • Contributing to employee engagement and development programs that have positively impacted retention or satisfaction metrics.
