About the Role

Enva is seeking a meticulous Accounts Receivable Administrator to join our energetic team based in Portlaoise. This position reports directly to the Accounts Receivable Lead and offers a hybrid working model that includes at least two days onsite each week, providing a balance between remote work and team collaboration at the office.

Primary Duties

  • Manage and prioritise the main accounts receivable email inbox, sorting messages such as remittances, disputes, and general queries, and directing them to relevant team members or handling them personally.
  • Handle customer payments received by BACS, cheques, and credit cards, matching remittances sent by email to the correct outstanding invoices to ensure accurate cash application.
  • Prepare and lodge cheque deposits at the bank.
  • Provide receptionist coverage two days per week with light duties.
  • Support the broader accounts receivable team as needed.
  • Produce ad-hoc reports upon request.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience in an accounts receivable administrative capacity.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced working environment.
  • Skillful multitasking with effective time management capabilities.
  • Self-motivated and able to take initiative proactively.
  • Capacity to meet deadlines and appreciate the urgency surrounding month-end financial cut-offs.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
