Raffles & Fairmont Red Sea is being developed within Saudi Arabia’s ambitious Red Sea Project as a nature-led luxury resort destination. The property will feature 361 rooms, 11 dining experiences, overwater restaurants overlooking the Red Sea and mangroves, a spa, and a location beside an 18-hole championship golf course. Built across 200 km of pristine coastline, more than 90 untouched islands, dormant volcanoes, diverse marine life, and archaeological heritage, the project is designed to raise the standard for sustainable hospitality.

Role Summary

Raffles The Red Sea in Umluj, Saudi Arabia is looking for a meticulous and organized accounts payable professional to support the finance function. The role focuses on processing supplier payments accurately and on time while maintaining strong financial controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, validate, and process invoices, employee expense claims, and payment requests.
• Keep vendor details and transaction records complete, current, and accurate.
• Match account statements, investigate differences, and resolve payment-related issues.
• Prepare and execute electronic fund transfers and other payment runs.
• Support month-end accounting close activities.
• Handle supplier queries and sort out discrepancies in accounts.
• Follow company procedures and applicable accounting standards.
• Work with internal teams to streamline workflows and preserve financial accuracy.
• Assist with financial reporting and analysis when required.
• Safeguard confidential financial and commercial information at all times.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a closely related discipline.
• Two to three years of experience in accounts payable or a comparable finance role.
• Working knowledge of accounting tools such as SAP or Oracle, along with strong Microsoft Excel skills.
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to manage several tasks at once.
• Good planning, organization, and time-management capabilities.
• Understanding of core accounting principles and practices.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to perform independently as well as collaboratively.
• Experience using online banking platforms and electronic payment systems.
• Familiarity with Saudi Arabian tax rules and accounting standards is preferred.
