Role Overview
An established Irish multinational company is looking for an Accounts Assistant / Office Administrator to join its head office in Swords. The position sits within the Group Finance team and combines finance administration, accounts support, and broader office coordination in a busy, professional setting. It is well suited to someone who is highly organised, takes initiative, pays close attention to detail, and is comfortable handling varied tasks across different teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the finance function with daily administrative tasks.
- Handle invoice processing, arrange bank payments, and send remittance advice.
- Match and reconcile accounts for suppliers and service providers.
- Contribute to month-end activities, including journal entries.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams throughout the organisation.
- Arrange meetings, travel, and general office administration.
- Keep records, filing systems, and databases accurate and up to date.
- Provide assistance to finance and office operations whenever needed.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in finance administration, accounts support, or office administration. They should be comfortable working with numbers, highly detail-focused, and confident using Microsoft Office tools such as Excel and Word. The role calls for someone who is organised, adaptable, able to juggle several priorities, and capable of working on their own while maintaining confidentiality. Strong written and verbal communication, along with good people skills, are also important.
Compensation and Benefits
The salary offered is between €35,000 and €40,000 depending on experience. A discretionary bonus and pension are also included.
