About the Opportunity
HireForce is representing a major Irish PLC that is hiring a Corporate Finance Executive for its high-performing Group Corporate Development function. This is a hands-on role at the centre of the company’s global acquisition and corporate development activity, working closely with senior leaders across the Group and its business divisions.
The role offers direct involvement in shaping major strategic transactions and provides exposure to executives at the highest level.

Key Responsibilities
- Assess, review, and help execute M&A and wider corporate development opportunities across international markets.
- Develop detailed financial models and pressure-test assumptions to support investment and strategy decisions.
- Manage transactions through the full lifecycle, including initial screening, due diligence across financial, commercial, and legal workstreams, and completion.
- Coordinate internal senior stakeholders and oversee external advisers such as legal, tax, and financial specialists to ensure smooth delivery.
- Support negotiations by reviewing and contributing to key transaction documents.
Candidate Profile
- Recently qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA, with 0–2 years of post-qualification experience.
- Background in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance gained at a Big 4 or Top 6 firm.
- Strong academic results and a solid commercial mindset.
- Able to juggle several priorities in a demanding, transaction-led environment.
