Accounting Expert with US Experience (Remote Contract)

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced accounting professional with expertise in US accounting standards to contribute to AI training initiatives. This is a remote contract position requiring 10 to 40 hours per week, offering compensation between $90 and $100 per hour. The role involves reviewing and annotating financial data, applying US GAAP principles, and collaborating closely with AI developers to enhance accounting process understanding within AI models.

Key Responsibilities

• Review, annotate, and validate financial datasets using US accounting knowledge to support AI training
• Ensure application of GAAP (US) standards to maintain accuracy and relevance in financial data
• Work collaboratively with AI development teams by delivering subject matter insights and detailed assessments of accounting activities
• Utilize ERP software such as SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks to analyze and provide feedback on accounting procedures and best practices
• Perform quality assurance tasks by auditing training data and identifying discrepancies or insufficiencies
• Produce clear and concise documentation explaining complex accounting concepts for both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Required Qualifications

• Proven experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP, NetSuite, and QuickBooks
• Background in financial data annotation, audit processes, and documenting workflows
• Strong communication skills, capable of translating specialized accounting knowledge into easily understandable language
