Job description

Overview

This is a remote contract role for an Accounting and Audit Office Specialist. The position calls for a weekly commitment of 10 to 40 hours and is based in India.

Role Responsibilities

  • Examine accounting records, audit workflows, and financial documents to check for accuracy and compliance in support of AI training work.
  • Interpret detailed financial statements, reports, and office procedures and turn that analysis into practical suggestions for better processes and standards.
  • Use tools like Access, Visio, Power BI, and MS Project to organize, map, and present complex accounting and audit situations.
  • Provide clear written and spoken feedback on data entries, financial operations, and office-based scenarios to improve AI learning outputs.
  • Work with a remote, cross-functional team to verify financial information, clarify audit expectations, and help build strong training content.
  • Spot missing information or workflow issues and recommend improvements that strengthen both human and AI understanding of accounting and auditing concepts.

Requirements

  • Deep practical knowledge of accounting and audit office operations is required.
  • Prior exposure to Access, Visio, Power BI, and MS Project is preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, along with careful attention to detail, are essential.
  • You should be able to analyze, document, and explain complicated financial and audit processes clearly.
  • Good organizational ability is needed to balance several tasks in a remote, team-based environment.
  • Experience collaborating with different functions and turning feedback into action is necessary.
