Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily accounting activities for designated entities and manage the Accounts Payable operations.
- Conduct month-end closing procedures and compile monthly financial reports.
- Lead year-end account closures and timely preparation of financial statements and tax filings.
- Ensure compliance with both global and local accounting standards and procedures.
- Handle regulatory reporting obligations such as annual audits and tax return submissions.
- Prepare detailed and clear financial and analysis reports.
- Support internal and external audit processes.
- Collaborate on tax consultations and optimization efforts with external advisors.
- Evaluate financing alternatives when necessary.
- Contribute to special projects within the Finance & Accounting department as required.
Candidate Requirements
- Certified Chartered Accountant qualification is essential.
- Experience working in a Big 4 accounting firm is highly advantageous.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related fields.
- Strong grasp of internal controls and financial governance mechanisms.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Attention to detail and resilience under demanding standards.
- Ability to balance having viewpoints with appropriate restraint.
- Trustworthy to both junior and senior team members.
- Motivated for achievement and teamwork, with humility and ambition.
- Adaptable to fast-paced, lean working environments with inherent uncertainties.
