Role overview
This position focuses on helping businesses grow through Google’s advertising solutions. The role is centered on building strong customer relationships, understanding client business goals, and turning those needs into effective advertising strategies that support measurable growth. You will work with advertisers and internal teams to improve product adoption, strengthen partnerships, and deliver meaningful outcomes for customers, particularly small and medium-sized businesses.
Google is seeking someone who combines a sales mindset with knowledge of online media and a strong commitment to customer success. The work involves operating with urgency, adapting quickly to change, and finding strategic ways to produce both immediate and long-term impact.
Location note
Applicants can indicate a preferred working location from Mumbai, Maharashtra; Gurugram, Haryana; or Bengaluru, Karnataka.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree or an equivalent level of practical experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in stakeholder management, business, sales, or customer engagement.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with traditional and digital marketing strategy, including advertising products across online channels.
- Strong understanding of local market dynamics along with solid investigative ability.
- Ability to evaluate issues, shape recommendations, and build practical action plans.
- Comfort leading multiple projects while working with both internal and external stakeholders.
What you will do
- Oversee a set of customer accounts with account managers, ensuring goals are met while maintaining a high-quality sales experience.
- Build trust with senior stakeholders and act as a reliable advisor for increasing and optimizing advertising spend through business insight, risk awareness, growth opportunities, and multi-quarter planning.
- Support customer growth through business planning, strategic guidance, partnership development, reviews, and education.
- Help colleagues build stronger skills and contribute to overall team performance through coaching and knowledge sharing.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to support customer success and expansion.
