Your Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Account Manager to join our high-performing Medical Imaging sales team based in Auckland, covering the Upper North Island region. Reporting to the New Zealand Country Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing business strategies that foster profitable relationships across our comprehensive Imaging Systems portfolio, including MRI, CT, X-Ray, and Angiography technologies.

Role Responsibilities

  • Drive sales of advanced medical imaging equipment within both public and private healthcare sectors.
  • Develop and maintain strong business relationships at various organizational levels within hospital networks.
  • Stay informed on industry and customer market trends to inform sales strategies.
  • Manage the entire sales process including product demonstrations, negotiations, tenders, and delivery coordination.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders such as Clinical Applications Specialists, Engineers, and Product Managers to ensure outstanding customer service and technical support.
  • Maintain accurate sales pipeline data and manage sales leads effectively within the designated territory.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum of three years’ experience selling capital equipment or medical device solutions in both public and private healthcare settings.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Medical Imaging, Radiology, or equivalent clinical background is highly preferred.
  • Strong presentation and communication capabilities.
  • Strategic thinking with a strong customer focus and ability to negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in sales process management with a track record of protecting and expanding market share.
  • Skillful in analyzing complex data and developing strategic territory plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal abilities with cross-functional engagement skills to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Capability to manage high-pressure situations and prioritize conflicting demands.
