Job description

About the role

This position plays a meaningful part in expanding both Uber’s business and the success of the restaurant partners it supports. The focus is on building durable strategic partnerships, uncovering new revenue opportunities, and acting as the customer’s representative inside the company so their needs are clearly understood and addressed.

As Uber continues to launch new offerings such as dine-in, direct delivery, and marketing technology tools, the restaurant team helps partners make the most of the platform and supports their long-term growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage post-sale relationships for a portfolio of high-value and high-potential mid-market restaurant partners across New Zealand.
  • Take ownership of partner accounts to deliver measurable business outcomes, including revenue growth for both the partners and Uber, while strengthening retention through shared value creation.
  • Explain the Uber Eats value proposition and guide restaurant partners in using the full range of Uber products and services to grow their business.
  • Develop, structure, and drive growth initiatives with restaurant partners, coordinating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders through to delivery.
  • Define, monitor, and report performance metrics for partner accounts, and help educate partners on strong operational and commercial benchmarks.
  • Contribute actively to the small New Zealand team and help foster a positive and effective workplace.

What you need

  • Solid account management experience, including leading value-focused conversations with partners at scale to create impact and maintain engagement.
  • Strong ability to manage time well, balance competing priorities, and stay effective in a fast-paced day-to-day environment.
  • Negotiation capability, with a practical understanding of trade-offs in partnerships to reach outcomes that work for both Uber Eats and its partners.
  • Good analytical skills, including the ability to gather, interpret, and communicate data clearly to both internal and external audiences.
