About the Role
Uber Advertising is looking for a growth-oriented digital marketing manager to shape strategy for SMB merchants. As the business expands, self-serve advertising needs to evolve from a simple onboarding step into a core driver of growth. In this position, you will be responsible for campaign ownership and the web experience that increases merchant adoption of ads. You will also lead improvements to the Uber Advertising website and strengthen connections across the merchant journey by working closely with PMM, GCRM, and other B2B teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Redesign and expand the Uber Advertising website, and weave dedicated Ads content into the wider Merchant website to improve both organic and paid conversions.
- Plan and run a unified global campaign approach, including paid media and webinars, to attract unmanaged SMB restaurants.
- Collaborate with PMM and GCRM to maintain aligned messaging and use data-based triggers throughout the merchant lifecycle, from registration through repeat ad purchases.
- Scale evergreen marketing programs for managed accounts to grow global adoption of self-serve tools.
- Own the marketing approach for the new Learning Center so small businesses can get in-product education and a smoother onboarding experience.
- Work with internal partners to move customer data into internal systems and develop the B2B infrastructure required for global scale.
- Monitor key performance indicators such as SMB penetration, quarter-over-quarter retention, and website traffic and conversion performance.
Required Experience
- 5 to 7+ years of background in growth marketing, SMB marketing, or lifecycle marketing.
- Proven track record of managing paid acquisition efforts and leading website strategy or redesign work for a B2B audience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong ability to use segmentation and product-usage data to create personalized customer journeys that convert well.
- Experience influencing senior sales stakeholders and aligning marketing plans with commercial priorities and sales readiness.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills, including confidence presenting to senior leadership.
- Self-driven mindset with the ability to own projects and work independently.
- Prior exposure to the AdTech or Commerce Media space is an advantage.
- Practical experience with martech and CRM platforms, especially Marketo and Salesforce, for funnel tracking and reporting.
Compensation and Benefits
The listed base salary range for San Francisco, CA and New York, NY is USD 132,000 to USD 147,000 annually. Full-time employees may also be eligible for Uber's bonus program, equity awards, and other compensation elements. In addition, full-time staff are eligible for a 401(k) plan and a range of benefits.
