Job description
About Partly
Partly is building a global platform for replacement parts, beginning with the auto parts market, with the goal of making it easier for people to fix things and supporting a more sustainable future. Headquartered in Austin, Texas, the company also operates from offices in London, Christchurch, and Auckland, and connects teams across Europe and Australasia. The business was founded by former Rocket Lab engineers and uses advanced technology to solve meaningful problems in a large global industry. Partly has grown rapidly, working with a wide range of companies worldwide to help them catalog and manage parts online.
The company brings together a world-class team and offers onboarding through the nearest office, along with travel and accommodation for quarterly Season Opener gatherings. Relocation support is available for candidates moving to join the team. This role is based in the London office.
Role overview
This position is for a motivated sales professional who can win new business across the UK independent repairer market. The focus is on leading Partly’s growth in the North region by taking repairers from first contact to active users on the platform as quickly as possible. You will report to the Repairer Commercial Lead and will be expected to prospect, qualify, demonstrate, and close deals with the help of strong sales tools and a collaborative commercial team.
The role is designed for someone who enjoys building a sales motion from the ground up, testing messaging, creating repeatable outreach, and helping shape a scalable go-to-market approach. Travel to customer sites is part of the job, and candidates must have a valid UK driver’s licence. Collision and parts industry experience is helpful but not mandatory.
What you will do
- Manage the full sales cycle, from finding prospects and running discovery conversations to delivering demos and securing signed contracts.
- Take ownership of a defined UK territory and develop strong relationships with repairers and local supplier networks.
- Present Partly’s product in a way that makes the business impact clear, showing how it reduces admin time and improves procurement workflows.
- Use a consultative approach to guide repairers through their purchasing processes and handle objections confidently with an infrastructure-led value message.
- Generate your own pipeline through consistent outbound activity across calls, email, and LinkedIn.
- Partner with RevOps and Onboarding teams to ensure smooth handovers and timely customer activation.
- Maintain strong CRM hygiene, accurate forecasting, and a disciplined next-step process across an active opportunity pipeline.
- Share market and customer insights with Product, Engineering, and GTM teams to improve conversions and speed to launch.
What you need
- 2 to 4+ years of successful B2B sales experience in field, territory, or SaaS environments, with a strong record of hunting and closing.
- Comfort working with CRM systems, ideally HubSpot, and modern prospecting tools such as Apollo and Surfe.
- Strong resilience and initiative, with the ability to manage objections and keep moving a sales conversation forward.
- A structured approach to pipeline management and the discipline to work at high speed without losing detail.
- Strong communication skills, including senior stakeholder conversations, clear written communication, and calm objection handling.
- Curiosity about technical workflows and the ability to understand systems such as BMS and invoicing processes.
- A continuous-learning mindset, including openness to call review and feedback to improve performance.
- A strong sense of ownership, accountability, and resourcefulness in delivering outcomes.
- Applicants who do not meet every requirement are still encouraged to apply if they believe they can excel in the role.
Benefits
- Competitive base pay with equity participation for full-time employees.
- Annual global offsite in New Zealand, typically bringing the UK and EU teams together in Christchurch for one to two weeks.
- Primary caregivers receive three months of fully paid parental leave, plus a phased return-to-work arrangement at four days of full pay for the first three months back.
- Daily office lunch from Monday to Friday.
- Flexible working hours, with office-based work as the default.
- Regular team events, including quarterly Season Opener gatherings, monthly team catch-ups, and weekly happy hours.
- Annual wellness allowance of £750 on a Partly-branded card for health and wellbeing expenses, including gym, physio, massage, GP visits, prescriptions, and more for you or your family.
Relocation support
Relocation assistance is available for candidates moving to Partly HQ from within the UK or from overseas.
