Job description
About Digify
Digify provides cloud software for virtual data rooms and digital rights management, helping businesses safeguard, monitor, and control important documents after sharing them. Customers rely on the platform for use cases such as fundraising, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence, intellectual property exchange, and other sensitive business communication needs. The product is trusted in 138 countries and has more than 700,000 users globally.
Role Overview
Digify is growing its sales organization and is hiring an Account Executive to help develop its EMEA business. This position is focused on inbound SaaS sales for small and mid-sized customers, with an emphasis on handling and converting inbound demand from the EMEA region, including trial registrations, general questions, quote requests, and RFPs.
Because inbound volume across EMEA may be substantial, the role calls for strong lead qualification, sharp prioritization, and an eye for opportunities with the strongest commercial upside. The right person will be commercially minded, comfortable working in SaaS sales, and able to guide prospects through discovery, demos, follow-up, and closing. Candidates with exceptional SDR/BDR backgrounds may also be considered if they already have closing exposure and can take ownership of customer conversations end to end.
This is a remote position, and applicants should be located in a time zone that allows practical overlap with EMEA customers and the Digify team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming EMEA leads such as trial signups, enquiries, quote requests, and RFPs.
- Assess each lead for fit, urgency, use case, purchase intent, and commercial value.
- Focus effort on the most promising opportunities while staying on top of a high-volume inbound pipeline.
- Engage prospects by phone, email, and video to uncover needs and pain points.
- Match Digify solutions to the prospect’s use case, requirements, and buying situation.
- Run product demonstrations with enough product knowledge to answer common workflow and technical questions.
- Explain Digify’s value proposition clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Maintain consistent, professional follow-up to keep opportunities progressing toward close.
- Keep HubSpot records accurate, current, and well managed.
- Relay customer feedback, objections, market patterns, and competitor information to sales, product, and marketing teams.
- Collaborate with the existing sales team to support territory handover, shared learning, and EMEA growth.
Requirements
- At least 2 to 3+ years of SaaS sales experience with a strong track record, ideally in a closing role.
- Experience selling SaaS or cloud software to SMB and/or mid-market customers.
- Strong qualification ability, with the speed to judge fit, urgency, and deal potential.
- Sound commercial judgment and the ability to prioritize well in a fast-moving inbound environment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to identify customer pain points and present product value clearly.
- Comfort building trust and rapport through calls, emails, and online meetings.
- Confidence delivering demos and simplifying technical concepts in a practical way.
- Ability to recommend the right product approach based on customer needs.
- Disciplined follow-up habits and the ability to create urgency while keeping a consultative tone.
- Strong spoken and written English; German or French and other European languages are a plus.
- Comfort working across different EMEA markets and adapting to varied business cultures, languages, and buying styles.
- Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot.
- Comfort using AI tools to boost sales productivity, including call prep, prospect research, follow-up writing, and CRM updates.
Nice to Have
- Background in selling document security, data room, cybersecurity, legal tech, fintech, investment, M&A, or other B2B software products.
- Exposure to inbound, trial-led, or product-led growth sales motions.
- Awareness of data protection, document security, due diligence, or compliance-related buyer needs.
What Success Looks Like
- Identify quickly which inbound leads deserve immediate attention.
- Understand the underlying business problem rather than only answering the surface request.
- Recommend the most suitable Digify solution in a consultative and credible manner.
- Deliver strong product demos independently.
- Maintain disciplined follow-up and keep deals advancing.
- Turn qualified inbound EMEA demand into paying customers.
- Build trust with SMB and mid-market buyers across different EMEA markets.
- Bring useful market and customer insights back to the broader team.
Additional Information
This is a remote, full-time sales role focused on EMEA coverage. Applicants should have scheduling overlap with EMEA time zones. The company is open to candidates from an SDR/BDR background if they can demonstrate relevant closing experience and readiness to own deals through to completion.
