Role overview

This role sits within Google Customer Solutions and focuses on helping businesses grow through digital advertising. The position is based in Mumbai, with preferred working locations also available in Bengaluru and Gurgaon. You will partner with customers to understand their business goals, translate them into advertising strategies, and help deliver measurable outcomes across Google’s advertising products.

Minimum qualifications

  • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience is required.
  • At least 8 years of work experience in digital advertising, consultative selling, business development, or digital marketing. Candidates with an advanced degree need at least 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Hands-on experience working with advertisers, agencies, or clients.

Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of both traditional and online marketing approaches, along with products across major digital advertising areas.
  • Strong familiarity with the local market and solid analytical ability.
  • Ability to think strategically, assess issues, and turn ideas into practical recommendations and action plans.
  • Experience managing several projects at once while coordinating with a wide mix of internal and external stakeholders.

You will build trusted client relationships, identify business needs, and shape solutions that support ambitious growth goals.

The Large Customer Sales team works with major brands and agencies as strategic advisors and industry experts. The team helps clients respond to major shifts in the market and improve performance by selling Google’s full advertising portfolio, including Search, YouTube, Measurement, and related products. This is a chance to work with senior stakeholders, influence market-level strategy, and contribute to meaningful business results at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee a customer portfolio together with account managers, ensuring targets are met while providing a strong and positive sales experience.
  • Earn the trust of senior leaders by advising them on how to improve and grow advertising spend through business insight, risk identification, opportunity mapping, and multi-quarter growth planning.
  • Support customer growth through business development, long-term partnership building, strategic planning, account reviews, and customer education.
  • Mentor colleagues proactively to strengthen team capability and improve outcomes for customers and the broader organization.
  • Work closely with cross-functional partners to help unlock and support customer growth.
