Role overview
This role sits within Google Customer Solutions and focuses on helping businesses grow through Google’s advertising products. The position is based in Gurgaon, Haryana, with the option to indicate a preferred work location from Bengaluru, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. You will work with customers to understand their business needs, translate those needs into advertising strategies, and help them get stronger results from Google’s marketing solutions. The job is highly collaborative and involves building trusted relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting long-term customer success in a fast-changing digital environment.
Minimum qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree, or equivalent hands-on professional experience.
- At least 8 years of experience in digital advertising, consultative sales, business development, or digital marketing; or 6 years of experience if you hold an advanced degree.
- Prior experience working directly with advertisers, agencies, or clients.
Preferred qualifications
- Working knowledge of both traditional and digital marketing approaches, along with advertising products across online channels.
- Strong understanding of the local market and the ability to analyze data effectively.
- Capability to think strategically, create practical recommendations, and turn them into action plans.
- Experience handling several projects at once while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of customers with account managers and help deliver against performance goals while ensuring a strong customer experience.
- Build trust with senior stakeholders and advise them on how to grow and optimize advertising spend through business insight, opportunity spotting, risk management, and multi-quarter planning.
- Support customer growth through planning, strategy, reviews, education, and long-term partnership building.
- Guide colleagues proactively to strengthen team capability and improve customer outcomes.
- Work with cross-functional teams to remove blockers and enable customer success.
