This position sits within LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions organization, which works to reshape selling through Sales Navigator, the company’s flagship product that helps buyers and sellers form productive, long-term relationships. In this role, you will use strategic social selling methods to explain the value of Sales Navigator to prospective customers, act as a dependable advisor, and continuously look for ways to help customers grow and succeed.
The work arrangement for this role is remote. It is intended to be carried out from the approved home location at the time of hire, and any later change to that home work location requires a review of remote status and approval.
Relevant locations for this role include Bangalore, Gurgaon, and Mumbai.
Responsibilities
- Connect with customers to uncover business opportunities and build relationships that contribute to sales objectives.
- Generate revenue by engaging customers and developing opportunities that create value for all parties involved.
- Create and carry out territory plans, while building dependable forecasts for your assigned area.
- Apply your expertise and customer insights to help improve the product and refine the sales process over time.
- Consistently exceed the business and revenue targets defined in your plan.
- Gather market feedback and communicate it to the Product and Marketing teams.
- Support the creation and implementation of foundational sales strategies within assigned territories.
- Work with team members to adopt best practices in sales execution and customer engagement.
- Take part in training to strengthen your understanding of sales methods and product offerings.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in a quota-carrying sales position.
- Prior experience selling SaaS offerings, CRM products, or software platform solutions.
- Experience working in a SaaS-driven environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with using LinkedIn as part of a sales professional’s toolkit is preferred.
- A track record of consistently exceeding quota and delivering results in a large, fast-growing organization is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and close senior-level business sales opportunities.
- Capability to evaluate business opportunities and understand prospective buyers.
- Ability to forecast accurately and execute against business goals in a predictable way.
- Comfort using data and insights to guide sales decisions.
- Ability to build trusted relationships with senior sales professionals.
