Role overview
This senior leadership position is focused on steering revenue growth, profit improvement, and go-to-market transformation across Central Europe. The remit covers Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Poland, Czech Republic, Slovenia, Slovakia, Hungary, Bulgaria, Romania, and the Balkan states.
The role calls for strong commercial judgement, strategic planning ability, and the capability to shape and modernize regional sales execution. You will lead Channel Sales Managers and Distribution Account Managers while also influencing external partners, distributors, and senior stakeholders.
Revenue and profitability
- Hit monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Plan, monitor, and deliver top-line revenue and profit goals.
- Own the daily tracking and management of revenue and bookings forecasts.
Strategic planning
- Create and roll out regional business plans that support global, corporate, and EMEA priorities.
- Set focused regional priorities that strengthen long-term growth and market position.
- Define short- and long-range financial goals and measure performance against agreed KPIs.
Team leadership
- Guide, coach, and develop a high-performing regional sales team.
- Distribute resources effectively to support operational and strategic goals.
- Earn strong commitment from the regional team, internal partners, and customers.
Customer and partner engagement
- Build and execute growth plans for strategic and key accounts.
- Maintain executive-level relationships with important channel partners, industry leaders, and experts.
- Work closely with Marketing, Commercial Strategy, Finance, and Sales Operations to keep planning and execution aligned.
Operational excellence
- Apply disciplined funnel management in line with Fluke EMEA Funnel Management Standard Work.
- Keep data accurate and dependable to support forecasting and reporting.
- Hold firm to pricing discipline and careful expense control to improve margin.
- Use Fortive Business System tools to support problem solving, standard work, daily management, and ongoing improvement.
Core capabilities
- Translate company strategy into practical regional plans.
- Lead and coach diverse sales teams successfully across multiple geographies.
- Drive change and create alignment across functions and business units.
- Understand P&L management, pricing, cost control, and margin optimization.
- Build accurate forecasts and manage budgets effectively.
- Interpret market trends, customer needs, and growth opportunities using data and commercial insight.
- Negotiate and manage complex contracts and strategic agreements.
- Resolve difficult issues and make timely, well-reasoned business decisions.
- Work confidently with digital and analytical tools such as Excel, CRM systems, AI-enabled tools, and data platforms.
Qualifications
- A bachelor’s degree in a technical or business-related discipline is required at minimum.
- A master’s degree in business or a related field is considered an advantage.
- English and German fluency is mandatory.
