Role Overview
This position sits within LinkedIn’s Sales Solutions organization, which works to transform selling through Sales Navigator, the company’s flagship tool for building meaningful buyer-seller relationships. In this hybrid Account Executive role, you will use consultative and strategic social selling to show prospective customers how Sales Navigator can create value. You will act as a dependable advisor, surface insights, and look for ongoing growth opportunities for customers.
Work Location
The role may be based in Bangalore, Gurgaon, or Mumbai. The arrangement is hybrid, so work will be split between home and a LinkedIn office on selected days depending on team and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Learn each customer’s business and goals by researching in advance and coming prepared with relevant questions and insights for meetings.
- Encourage customers, the company, and yourself to adopt a fresh approach to creating customer value.
- Use your own expertise and customer feedback to improve the product and the selling approach over time.
- Create and run strategic territory plans while building dependable forecasts.
- Consistently exceed the revenue and business targets defined in your plan.
- Generate revenue by engaging customers and uncovering opportunities that benefit all stakeholders.
- Help define and share best practices that can serve as the backbone of a fast-growing team.
- Capture market feedback and communicate it to the Product and Marketing teams.
- Use commercial judgment in business planning by factoring in economic, industry, and company considerations with a customer-first perspective.
Requirements
- At least 7 years of experience in a sales role that includes quota responsibility.
- Background in a SaaS environment is preferred.
- Prior experience using LinkedIn as a sales professional is preferred.
- A track record of consistently exceeding quota and delivering strong results in a large, fast-growing company is preferred.
- Proven ability to identify, manage, and close senior-level business deals is preferred.
- Capability to evaluate business opportunities and understand prospective buyers is preferred.
- Ability to forecast accurately and execute against business goals is preferred.
- Comfort using insights and data to guide sales decisions is preferred.
- Experience building trusted relationships with senior sales professionals is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with Sales Navigator is preferred.
