About the Role
This position plays an important part in expanding the Uber Eats business in New Zealand. The focus is on improving restaurant choice for customers by adding high-quality restaurant and merchant partners to the Uber Eats platform.
Key Impact
- Take ownership of the complete partner acquisition process for New Zealand’s top-priority local restaurant accounts.
- Act as a reliable advisor by understanding each partner’s specific challenges and goals, and clearly presenting Uber Eats’ value proposition.
- Represent the customer perspective and take full ownership of the merchant experience.
- Manage a defined territory and use a thoughtful, strategic approach to win high-value merchant partnerships.
Experience You Bring
- Strong end-to-end sales capability, including moving a partner from first contact through to an established relationship and revenue creation, while handling objections related to product use and commercial and legal terms.
- Solid execution skills with the ability to achieve visible results and improve continuously even when facing setbacks.
- Clear communication skills paired with empathy to explain information persuasively and confidently to different partner types.
- Sales and business judgment, including the ability to build relationships that create long-term value for both Uber and its partners.
