Job description

About the role

This senior sales position is based in Auckland and focuses on managing global and enterprise restaurant brands across New Zealand. You will own a portfolio of the market’s largest QSR advertisers and act as their main strategic contact.

In close partnership with Delivery Account Management and Ads Account Management teams, you will help partners achieve their growth and marketing goals. Reporting to the Head of Restaurant Advertising for ANZ, you will develop durable, strategic joint business partnerships that generate long-term revenue growth and clear business outcomes for restaurant partners.

This opportunity is ideal for a commercially minded sales leader who enjoys consultative selling, can work effectively in uncertain situations, handles complex negotiations well, and is motivated by building relationships with senior executives.

Key responsibilities

  • Act as the lead strategic contact for major QSR advertisers while managing a portfolio of established enterprise accounts.
  • Use structured sales lifecycle management to improve revenue, retention, and long-term account growth.
  • Spot growth opportunities early and resolve partner challenges with customized, solution-led recommendations.
  • Work through complexity and ambiguity to shape strategies that align with partner priorities.
  • Lead joint business planning to turn partnerships into long-term strategic collaborations.
  • Connect Uber’s offerings to partner marketing plans and growth targets to accelerate performance.
  • Coordinate integrated planning across Ads, Offers, and Demand Generation solutions to maximize impact.
  • Build data-supported business cases to secure additional budget from partners.
  • Handle sophisticated negotiations by clearly explaining ROI, incrementality, and efficiency.
  • Guide partners toward demand generation strategies that are sustainable and highly effective.
  • Use strong knowledge of the New Zealand QSR market and the wider retail environment.
  • Draw on experience with both traditional and digital media channels, including Meta, Google, TikTok, and competing platforms.
  • Position Uber’s Demand Generation tools, including Ads and Offers, in ways that support partner objectives.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years of proven experience managing and growing enterprise accounts, including a move from transactional selling to strategic partnerships.
  • Demonstrated success in leading joint business plans that contribute meaningfully to revenue growth.
  • Background in QSR, CPG, or retail, along with solid knowledge of the traditional and digital advertising ecosystem.
  • Track record of upselling value-based solutions that increase client spend and produce measurable business impact.
  • Strong commercial judgment and accountability for consistently exceeding revenue targets in competitive markets.
  • Preferred: 7 or more years of experience managing and scaling major enterprise accounts.
  • Preferred: Deep industry knowledge in QSR, CPG, or retail, plus advanced familiarity with ad-tech platforms such as Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Preferred: Experience building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, including C-suite leaders, Heads of Media, and agency partners.
  • Preferred: Strong analytical ability to interpret complex performance marketing data and turn it into persuasive, data-led proposals.
