This opportunity is shared on behalf of a partner employer that will handle all applications and subsequent hiring steps. The company is seeking an Account Executive focused on Government and Military accounts in Ireland.
You will drive strategic business growth across government and defense organizations in Northern Europe, taking ownership of complex sales processes, developing trusted relationships with senior stakeholders, and supporting the expansion of advanced digital aviation technology. The role is fully remote and offers strong autonomy, international collaboration, and the chance to shape meaningful commercial initiatives in a fast-moving technology environment.
Key responsibilities
- Build, maintain, and grow a healthy sales funnel while keeping forecasts and revenue expectations accurate.
- Run multi-stage sales pursuits from first contact through negotiation and final deal closure.
- Establish durable relationships with government bodies, military customers, and strategic partners across Northern Europe.
- Create campaign plans that support business goals and secure the people, tools, and internal backing needed for success.
- Track pipeline movement, budgets, and performance indicators to keep campaigns on schedule and aligned to targets.
- Draft polished proposals, presentations, and commercial agreements matched to customer needs.
- Study the market and competitors to uncover growth opportunities and improve positioning.
- Use strong product understanding to guide customers, solve business problems, and present practical value-led solutions.
Requirements
- Background in B2B and/or B2G sales within Europe, preferably in aviation, aerospace, defense, software, or technology.
- Proven ability to manage long and complex sales cycles while building enduring client relationships.
- Solid knowledge of European business settings and the cultural differences across several markets.
- Excellent skills in negotiation, communication, presentations, and stakeholder management.
- Comfort working independently in a fully remote setup while handling several strategic opportunities at once.
- Openness to occasional travel and to adjusting working hours according to customer needs.
- Strong professional English fluency is essential; knowledge of other European languages is a plus.
- Genuine interest in aviation and technology.
- Experience with government agencies, defense ministries, military buyers, system integrators, or international defense organizations is highly preferred.
- Experience in aviation operations, flight planning, or military/professional piloting is a valuable advantage.
