Role overview
Vanta is adding customer-oriented Account Executives to the Startups Sales team. In this position, you will own the full sales journey and help Vanta stand out to prospects in a competitive market.
This position is based in the Dublin office with an office-centric hybrid setup. Regular in-office days are Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
What you'll do
- Spot promising business segments and build outbound approaches to reach them with Vanta’s solutions.
- Run the complete sales process, from first outreach through negotiation and contract closure, with an emphasis on shortening deal timelines to about 30 days.
- Convert inbound interest into new business wins and satisfied customers.
- Own and improve the sales pipeline, helping refine the team’s process and playbook.
- Tailor Vanta’s value proposition for each prospect and create effective sales collateral and demos.
- Feed customer and prospect insights back into the product development process.
What we are looking for
- At least 12 months of experience in a quota-carrying closing role with a consistent record of surpassing monthly and quarterly targets.
- Background in B2B SaaS, ideally in the SMB segment and in environments with shorter sales cycles.
- Fluency in both German and English, along with strong communication ability in each language.
- A customer-first mindset with evidence of strong long-term retention.
- Enough technical understanding to learn Vanta’s product and build trusted relationships with technical buyers.
- Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for making an early impact in a startup environment.
- Comfort using AI tools responsibly to improve productivity, learn faster, and deliver stronger results.
