The Early Stage Sales team is being expanded to support this growth. The team is seeking energetic, customer-oriented Account Executives who do well in fast-moving, high-volume environments and enjoy converting activity into measurable outcomes. In this position, you will own the full sales process, from the first conversation through to signed contract, and help position Vanta as a preferred solution for early-stage companies encountering security and compliance needs for the first time.
This is a transactional new-business role where success depends on following a disciplined, repeatable process and sustaining strong daily activity.
The role is based in Dublin and follows an office-centric hybrid model, with standard in-office days on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Key responsibilities
- Identify promising business segments and build outbound approaches to connect them with Vanta.
- Own the complete sales journey, including initial outreach, negotiation, and closing, while working quickly and efficiently and targeting deal closure within 30 days.
- Convert inbound interest into closed deals in a fast and consistent manner across a large prospect base.
- Work in a high-speed, transactional sales setting, completing many discovery conversations and handling several opportunities at once.
- Refine your sales process continuously so you can keep activity levels high, improve conversion rates, and produce repeatable outcomes.
- Explain Vanta’s value clearly to prospects and adapt demos and sales materials for early-stage startup buyers.
- Share product feedback and market patterns gathered from prospects to support go-to-market and product decisions.
Success profile
- At least 12 months of experience in a closing role with quota responsibility and a history of exceeding monthly and quarterly targets.
- Background in B2B SaaS, preferably serving SMBs or early-stage startups where short sales cycles and strong activity levels are common.
- Comfort working in high-velocity sales environments that reward repetition, quick decisions, and a transactional approach.
- Strong customer empathy and a demonstrated ability to support long-term retention.
- Technical understanding sufficient to learn Vanta’s software and build trust with technically savvy prospects.
- Strong problem-solving ability and enthusiasm for making an early impact in a startup environment.
- Self-driven, proactive, and resourceful, with the ability to take initiative without needing close direction.
- Openness to using AI responsibly to enhance productivity, learn faster, and improve overall impact.
