Role Overview
We are seeking an Account Executive based in Dublin to spearhead new customer acquisition and growth within our Commercial (SMB) segment. This full-cycle sales position demands proactive outbound prospecting, managing structured discovery calls, delivering engaging product demonstrations, and navigating complex stakeholders to close deals swiftly and with urgency.
You will engage with high-level buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VP Product, and VP Engineering, and develop a deep understanding of technical product applications including APIs, data infrastructure, developer tools, and AI-driven workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Adopt an outbound-driven mindset, proactively creating pipeline and accelerating account momentum.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through to negotiation and closing.
- Conduct thorough discovery calls to identify business needs and technical specifications, transforming these insights into compelling value propositions.
- Present live demos and customized narratives guiding customers through evaluation phases, including designing workspace setup, permissions, rollout plans, and integrations to facilitate adoption.
- Address intricate commercial requirements such as security, legal, and procurement by collaborating with internal cross-functional teams.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and consistently deliver high-velocity execution to meet or surpass quota goals.
- Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams to relay customer feedback and insights that inform business strategies.
Required Skills and Experience
- Between 1 to 3 years experience in a full-cycle quota-bearing sales role or a related position with clear deal-closing responsibilities and proven success.
- Proven ability to sell to or collaborate with technical buyers such as CIOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, and VP Product, with skill in translating technical product advantages into workflow improvements and ROI.
- Strong outbound sales discipline, creative pipeline building, and proficiency across full sales cycles including discovery, demonstration, and closing.
- Experience managing multi-threaded deals and influencing multiple stakeholders within complex organizations.
- Quick learner with curiosity and capacity to grasp and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Hands-on user of AI to enhance personal productivity and familiarity with modern AI-assisted work patterns.
- Fluency in both Italian and English is required.
- Ability to thrive amid ambiguity, with prior experience selling within the MEDIT market, contributing to the refinement of commercial approaches, scalable processes, and insightful customer feedback.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with usage-based or consumption pricing models.
- Familiarity with developer tools, APIs, data infrastructure, or AI products.
- Previous experience as an early sales hire in a rapidly growing startup environment.
- Fluency in Spanish is advantageous.
Compensation & Benefits
Notion provides a competitive cash compensation package, equity options, and benefits tailored to factors such as location, the role’s scope, and candidate experience. Total on-target earnings for this position are estimated at €130,000 per annum, including base salary and incentive pay.
