Job Overview
This role offers a commission-based structure with additional incentives and rewards tied to performance outcomes. Successful candidates may earn an international trip every three months or opt for a cash prize of equivalent value.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a trusted advisor and main point of contact for senior leadership within a specific business unit or department.
- Develop and execute functional strategies — encompassing personnel, financial, and technological aspects — that align with the company's overarching goals and vision.
- Collaborate with management teams to create and implement action plans that drive attainment of key business objectives.
- Analyze performance metrics and operational data to extract actionable insights relevant to the function, such as HR metrics, financial statements, or system utilization figures.
- Identify risks and opportunities in areas including budget, talent management, and process efficiency; provide recommendations to mitigate risks or leverage opportunities.
- Utilize data to guide decision-making, challenge current practices, and suggest improvements.
- Lead initiatives aimed at improving organizational performance, enhancing process efficiency, and adopting best practices within the business unit.
- Manage change initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of new strategies, systems, or policies.
- Oversee or support functional projects ensuring timely completion and adherence to scope and budget limitations.
- Establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships across all levels of staff and departments.
- Enable clear and consistent communication between functional teams and business units to align priorities and needs effectively.
- Identify and engage customers interested in investing in TATA.
Qualifications and Experience
- Typically requires 5 or more years of experience in roles such as business partner, consulting, or senior specialist capacity, which will provide an advantage.
- Minimum academic qualification of a Bachelor's degree in relevant fields such as Business Administration, Finance, Human Resources, or related disciplines; a Master's degree is often preferred.
- Strong domain expertise in the function concerned (for example, HR, finance, or IT) with insight into its influence on business operations.
