Job description
About the company
The company behind this role builds an AI-powered collaborative workspace designed to bring knowledge, projects, meetings, and AI tools together in one environment. Its platform is used by individuals, small teams, and large organizations to reduce fragmentation and speed up work. The team places a strong emphasis on craft, durable product quality, and the idea that meaningful work remains human at its core.
Employees are expected to set the benchmark for how people collaborate in the AI era, whether that means creating a business’s system of record, enabling and managing AI agents, or automating repetitive work so customers can spend more time on higher-value tasks.
About the role
This Dublin-based Account Executive role focuses on driving new business and account expansion within the Commercial SMB segment across the DACH market. It is a full-cycle sales position for someone who can run structured discovery, present polished demos, engage technical and business stakeholders, and move complex deals to a close with speed and discipline.
The role requires a strong outbound approach and the ability to build product fluency around technical use cases such as APIs, data, developer tools, infrastructure, and AI or agentic workflows. You will work with senior buyers including CIOs, CTOs, VPs of Product, and VPs of Engineering.
What you will do
- Build new pipeline proactively through outbound activity and create momentum quickly within target accounts.
- Manage the entire sales process from prospecting and discovery through solution alignment, demos, negotiation, and closing.
- Lead discovery conversations that uncover business goals and technical needs, then convert those insights into a strong value story.
- Present live demos and tailored narratives that help customers evaluate the product, including light solution design such as workspace setup, permissions, rollout planning, and integrations.
- Work through commercial-stage buying hurdles such as security, legal, and procurement with help from internal partners.
- Forecast accurately and maintain a high-velocity execution style to consistently meet or exceed quota.
- Collaborate with Solutions, Product, and Marketing teams and feed customer insights back into the business.
Requirements
- Between 1 and 3 years of closing experience in a full-cycle, quota-carrying sales role, or a closely related role with direct closing responsibility, backed by consistent performance.
- Professional fluency in both English and German.
- Experience selling to, or working alongside, technical stakeholders such as CIOs, CTOs, VP Engineering, and VP Product, with the ability to connect product capabilities to business workflows and ROI.
- Strong outbound habits, creative pipeline generation, and the ability to handle discovery, demonstrations, and closing in a full-cycle motion.
- Proven ability to manage multi-threaded deals and influence decision-making across complex organizations.
- Fast learner with strong curiosity and the ability to understand and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Comfort using AI tools in day-to-day work and able to discuss modern AI-enabled ways of working.
- Comfortable working in ambiguity and contributing to the development of repeatable sales processes and commercial playbooks.
Nice to have
- Experience with usage-based or consumption-based pricing models.
- Exposure to developer tooling, APIs, data products, infrastructure, or AI-related products.
- Prior experience as an early sales hire in a fast-growing startup.
Compensation and benefits
The company offers competitive cash compensation, equity, and benefits. The exact package depends on location, role scope, complexity, and the candidate’s background. The estimated total on-target earnings for this position are €130,000 per year, including base pay and variable incentive compensation.
Additional information
Applicants should be aware that submitting an application allows the company and its affiliates or subsidiaries to collect and process personal information in line with its Global Recruiting Privacy Policy.
AI expectations
The company does not require deep AI specialization for every position, but it does look for people who are curious, enjoy exploring new ideas, and are comfortable using AI as a practical collaborator in their work. In roles where AI fluency is essential, that expectation is stated directly in the qualifications. High-performing team members use AI to think better and to make their work easier for others to build on.
Equal opportunity and accommodations
The employer is committed to building a diverse team and welcomes candidates from a wide range of backgrounds. Applicants are encouraged to apply even if they do not meet every requirement. Hiring decisions are made without discrimination based on legally protected characteristics. Qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records may be considered where permitted by law.
Reasonable accommodations are available during the application process. Candidates who need support because of a disability may request assistance from their recruiter.
