Role overview

The company is seeking an Account Director to serve as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them get meaningful value from the solutions offered. The role calls for a strategic seller who is focused on customer success, commercial growth, and acting as an internal advocate for the client.
Responsibilities
- Prepare for customer meetings by researching the client’s business and bringing relevant questions and insights.
- Use layered, open-ended questioning to uncover needs, goals, and opportunities in depth.
- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders at different levels and across functions within the customer organization.
- Adapt messaging and communication style to suit varied audiences.
- Recommend solutions that match customer goals rather than leading with products.
- Sell with honesty and integrity.
- Influence customer decisions by aligning stakeholders around a shared vision and relevant business value.
- Use a consultative commercial approach when structuring and negotiating agreements.
- Support recommendations and address objections using data and insights.
- Reduce churn risk through a proactive, customer-focused approach.
- Stay engaged with customers to validate value and adjust strategy when needed to improve return on investment.
- Identify ways to increase customer value and drive account growth.
- Apply business judgment in account planning, taking economic, industry, and company factors into account.
- Map key stakeholders to understand relationship strength and shape outreach plans.
- Work jointly with colleagues and cross-functional partners to support customer outcomes.
- Show humility and seek help from teammates when challenges arise.
- Be strong in territory planning, account planning, forecasting, and quota achievement.
- Use CRM systems and other sales tools effectively to manage sales and buying cycles.
Requirements
- At least 1 to 2 years of experience in closing sales.
- Strong command of English.
- Knowledge of a Nordic language is preferred.
- Background in recruiting, recruitment media, or HR software is preferred.
- Experience with SaaS opportunities and Dynamics is preferred.
- Experience selling IT or recruitment-related solutions is preferred.
- Understanding of software contract terms and conditions, with the ability to structure fair deals.
- Strong negotiation and forecasting capabilities.
- Proven ability to close senior-level business in an evangelist-style sales environment.
- Ability to evaluate opportunities and use data to shape customer decisions.
- Ability to handle many prospects at once while positioning offerings against direct and indirect competitors.
