About the Role
Richspx Energy is seeking experienced welders certified in 6G and Indian Boiler Regulations (IBR) to join our LPG and Natural Gas projects across Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. Candidates should possess relevant technical qualifications and have hands-on experience in industrial and pressure piping sectors involving LPG, natural gas, or related fields.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform welding on mild steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, and GI piping adhering to approved WPS/PQR standards.
- Execute complex 6G welding tasks specific to LPG and Natural Gas pipeline setups.
- Undertake welding work compliant with IBR wherever required.
- Interpret engineering documents including P&IDs, isometric and fabrication drawings, and welding symbols accurately.
- Ensure alignment, fit-up, and dimensional precision prior to welding operations.
- Collaborate closely with site engineers, QA/QC personnel, and inspectors to facilitate welding inspections.
- Follow authorized welding procedures and maintain high-quality welding standards.
- Assist in hydrotesting, pneumatic testing, and commissioning phases.
- Comply with PESO, IBR, ASME, and relevant Indian industrial standards.
- Maintain welding tools, equipment, and consumables in optimal condition.
- Strictly observe permit-to-work systems and all applicable safety protocols.
Candidate Profile and Skills
- ITI qualification in Welding or equivalent technical training is required.
- Possession of a valid 6G welding certificate and/or IBR certification is mandatory.
- Additional certifications in GTAW/TIG, SMAW, or ASME Section IX are advantageous.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in LPG, natural gas, industrial or pressure piping projects.
- Preferred experience includes installation of LPG LOT/VOT systems, gas manifolds, pressure reducing stations, and pipeline networks.
- Proficient in SMAW and GTAW/TIG welding techniques.
- Ability to perform welding in various positions with specialized skills in 6G welding.
- Understanding of welding defects, repair procedures, and strict quality standards.
- Competency in reading engineering drawings and welding procedure documents.
- Strong awareness of industrial safety practices and standards.

Compensation and Benefits
