Job Overview
Player 15 Group, managing sports and entertainment teams like the Phoenix Suns and Mercury, seeks an enthusiastic Premium Events & Experiences Intern. Based in Phoenix, this role supports the revenue team in orchestrating premium events and fan experiences, contributing to the organization's vibrant culture and community impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with administration for events including preparation of materials, RSVP coordination, creation of event schedules, budgeting, and maintaining event records.
- Support onsite activities such as event setup, coordination during the event, teardown, and maintaining smooth operations throughout the event timeline.
- Collaborate across departments and with external vendors to facilitate events for members, partners, and hospitality functions.
- Deliver excellent guest service by welcoming attendees and resolving any inquiries.
- Travel as needed within the local market to assist with vendor and client logistics.
- Engage in post-event analyses to collect feedback for enhancing future occasions.
Qualifications and Skills
- Exceptional organizational capabilities, meticulous attention to detail, and adept multitasking skills.
- Prior experience in event planning or hospitality is advantageous; a strong interest in the field and eagerness to learn are essential.
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends aligned with event schedules.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with event software is beneficial.
- Dedication to delivering superior guest service and a positive event environment.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written, suitable for professional interaction with diverse stakeholders.
- Minimum education: high school diploma or GED; currently enrolled as a college junior, senior, or graduate student, preferably pursuing hospitality, event management, or sports-related studies.
