Overview
City Wide Facility Solutions Vancouver seeks a dependable and skilled Handyman to join their team full-time. This position entails performing diverse maintenance and repair jobs throughout various commercial properties.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out general handyman and light maintenance tasks including minor repairs to doors, hardware, drywall, trim, and fixtures
- Perform basic carpentry work and installations
- Replace ceiling tiles as needed
- Conduct light plumbing repairs, such as fixing faucets, leaks, and fixtures
- Undertake light electrical work like installing fixtures, switches, and outlets within permitted guidelines
- Assemble and install furniture
- Complete service calls, punch-list tasks, and small-scale projects
- Perform preventative maintenance and routine upkeep
- Operate across multiple commercial locations including offices, medical facilities, schools, and industrial sites
- Collaborate with facility managers and internal teams for job coordination
- Respond promptly to urgent or time-sensitive service requests
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in handyman services or general maintenance roles
- Versatile skills across various trades
- Self-sufficient problem-solving abilities to identify and fix issues
- Excellent communication skills coupled with professional client interaction
- Valid driver's license with reliable personal transport
- Strong organizational skills to manage and prioritize workload effectively

- Experience working in commercial property environments
- Ability to handle multiple types of maintenance tasks in a single visit
- Dependable and responsive under pressing deadlines
