As part of our international growth plans, we are establishing operations in the Middle East and seek a seasoned sales leader to spearhead regional expansion and build a top-tier sales team locally.
About the Role
We are recruiting a Business Development Director to drive our market presence across the Middle East. This leader will be responsible for crafting and implementing regional sales strategies, assembling and managing a skilled local sales force, securing strategic enterprise customers, and fostering consistent business expansion. This role presents a unique chance to join a dynamic AI company during its early regional growth phase.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement the sales approach tailored for the Middle East region.
- Recruit, lead, and mentor a high-performing local sales team.
- Identify, engage, and secure new enterprise customers and strategic partnerships.
- Accelerate revenue growth and meet or exceed regional sales objectives.
- Build and sustain robust relationships with key clients.
- Track market developments and analyze competitor strategies.
- Deliver insightful market analysis and strategic advice to senior leadership.
Requirements
- Possess a bachelor's degree or higher.
- Minimum of 5 years B2B sales experience, preferably with a background in team leadership.
- Deep understanding of the business landscape in the Middle East.
- Demonstrated success in enterprise sales and business development.
- Established customer network within the Middle East is highly advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and negotiation capabilities.
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Arabic is a considerable benefit.
Preferred Professional Background
- Background in Artificial Intelligence, Enterprise Software/SaaS, Cloud Computing, Digital Transformation, ICT, or Technology Solutions industries is preferred.
