Job Overview
A stable and expanding company situated in Downtown Denver is looking for a Supply Chain Specialist to join its operations team. This role is ideal for a meticulous individual seeking to develop a lasting career in logistics, operations, and accounting assistance. The specialist will be crucial in handling shipment paperwork, reconciling transportation activities, and aiding customer billing within a dynamic setting offering significant growth opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process and manage large volumes of Bills of Lading and shipment documentation.
- Monitor shipments across truck, rail, barge, and vessel modes, ensuring transportation records are current.
- Execute shipment, billing, and contract reconciliations utilizing advanced Excel functions and ERP systems.
- Provide support for customer reporting, transportation coordination, and resolving shipment-related issues.
- Review and assist with fuel surcharges, demurrage, and detention charges related to logistics.
- Maintain freight rate information, deliver administrative support, and act as backup for team members when needed.
Qualifications
- Possession of a Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Proficiency in advanced Excel capabilities such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPs, and data analysis techniques.
- Experience managing Bills of Lading, shipment tracking, transportation documentation, or coordinating logistics.
- Familiarity with ERP software is required; experience with RightAngle is an advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail paired with the ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in supporting billing, reconciliations, or operational reporting is strongly preferred.
Compensation and Benefits
- Annual base salary ranging from $65,000 to $70,000.
