Role Overview
We are looking for a Payroll Specialist (Lohnbuchhalter Lohn & Gehalt) who can independently handle payroll responsibilities and grow professionally, whether you are experienced or just starting your career.
Responsibilities
- Independently prepare monthly payroll accounting and maintain personnel master data.
- Calculate bonuses, special payments, vacation entitlements; manage employee entries/exits and contract modifications.
- Ensure timely communication with social security agencies and other authorities.
- Generate certificates, reports, and support tax and social security audits.
- Advise clients on payroll tax and social security legal matters.
- Collaborate closely with the team and actively improve internal processes.
Requirements
- Completed commercial or tax-related training, preferably focused on payroll.
- Several years' professional experience in payroll accounting, either in-house or at a tax consultancy.
- Proficiency in DATEV LODAS or similar payroll systems.
- Solid knowledge of payroll tax and social security regulations.
- Structured, precise, and punctual work style.
- Strong numerical understanding and analytical skills.
- Service-oriented, reliable, and professional demeanor.
- Team player with strong communication skills, responsibility, and discretion.
