About the Role
As the Human Resources Business Partner, you will serve as a reliable advisor to both leadership and staff, spearheading operational HR excellence and strategic people initiatives. This position is a hands-on, autonomous role backed by strong regional support, perfect for someone passionate about establishing HR foundations within a growing environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure the people strategy supports business expansion goals.
- Provide expert guidance on employee relations, workplace concerns, and HR policies.
- Ensure adherence to Australian employment laws while mitigating associated risks.
- Manage the entire recruitment and workforce planning activities.
- Oversee the full employee lifecycle including onboarding, performance management, remuneration, and offboarding.
- Coordinate payroll processes in conjunction with external providers.
- Lead initiatives to enhance employee engagement, corporate culture, and wellbeing locally.
- Develop and refine HR procedures, systems, and governance frameworks.
Candidate Profile
- Proactive and business-oriented HR professional with a solid foundation in Australian HR practices.
- Ideal candidates will have approximately five years of experience in a generalist or HR Business Partner capacity.
- Strong familiarity with Australian employment legislation and employee relations is essential.
- Experience working within multinational or matrix organisations is advantageous.
- Proven ability to influence and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
- Adaptable and hands-on approach with the capacity to function effectively on both strategic and operational levels.
