This announcement invites qualified Statisticians to express interest for involvement in a forthcoming large-scale national survey and data analytics project focused on the education sector. The project is aimed at gathering comprehensive feedback from various stakeholders, performing survey data collection, conducting thorough statistical analyses, and producing detailed reports to support quality enhancement and informed decision-making in higher education.

The Statistician will apply strong expertise in statistical methods, data quality control, and clear analytical communication to address multiple stakeholder requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and assess sampling strategies for extensive survey populations.
• Implement suitable weighting and statistical estimation procedures.
• Perform quantitative analyses of survey data, including calculating indicators, trends, and comparative statistics.
• Participate in data cleaning, validation, and quality assurance activities.
• Assist in preparing statistical outputs such as charts, tables, and documentation of methodologies.
• Maintain transparency and reproducibility in analysis aligned with reporting standards.
• Contribute to reports at institutional and national levels.

Required Qualifications

• Master’s degree or PhD in fields including Statistical Sciences, Applied or Mathematical Statistics, Data Science, Quantitative and Qualitative Analysis, Operations Research, Computer Science, Mathematics, or closely related disciplines.

Experience and Expertise

• Minimum five years of relevant experience covering survey methodology and sampling design.
• Proficiency in weighting schemes and statistical estimation approaches.
• Competence in quantitative data analysis and statistical quality assurance.
• Experience with large-scale surveys or research programs.
• Ability to document statistical processes and support multidisciplinary data projects.
• Familiarity with education or social research, public sector projects, or extensive stakeholder engagement is advantageous.
