Role Overview
We're seeking a Sales Development Representative focused on the DACH market to join our Sales team. This role offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact in the global employment space through engaging outbound leads, prospect identification, and supporting Account Executives.
Key Responsibilities
- Engage promptly with outbound leads and inbound inquiries, qualifying potential clients.
- Identify and source new sales prospects, arranging appointments for Account Executives.
- Articulate Remote's value propositions clearly and assess client needs for suitability.
- Support Account Executives as required throughout the sales process.
- Educate and nurture prospects towards a successful handover to sales teams.
- Develop targeted prospect lists and penetrate important accounts.
- Conduct cold calls to prospects sourced from various channels.
- Research key stakeholders, understand business requirements, and present solutions initiating the sales cycle.
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in business development using sales tools; familiarity with Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo is advantageous.
- Experienced in the role of Sales Development Representative within B2B SaaS technology environments.
- Skilled negotiator with persuasive communication abilities.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills in both English and German, with strong listening aptitude and dynamic phone presence.
- Strategic and tactical thinker who maintains resilience and a positive attitude despite setbacks.
- Highly self-motivated with a proactive mindset, taking the initiative to contribute innovative ideas.
- Demonstrated outcomes aligned with the responsibilities listed.
- Automation and AI literacy are essential, reflecting Remote's commitment to innovation.
- Remote work experience is beneficial but not required.
Working Conditions and Reporting
- This role reports to the Manager, Outbound Sales Development and is part of the Sales team located in the EMEA region.
- Immediate start date is preferred.
Compensation Philosophy
Remote maintains a compensation framework based on fairness, equity, and competitive pay relative to local market conditions, rejecting exploitative wage practices. The expected annual on-target earnings range from USD 31,500 to USD 70,950, with base salary constituting 70% of total compensation. The precise salary depends on factors such as geography, experience, skills, and demand and may be adjusted over time.
