About the Role

This position is designed for an experienced Project Coordinator or Junior Project Manager with expertise in supporting the management of multi-family residential building projects, particularly 4 to 6 storey wood-frame apartment and townhouse constructions. The role focuses on assisting with all phases from planning through to project completion, including scheduling, budgeting, procurement, contract processes, and communication with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage coordination of all stages in 4-6 storey wood-frame residential construction from pre-construction to occupancy.
  • Assist in planning tasks such as project scheduling, budgeting, cost forecasting, and cost monitoring.

  • Support procurement by aiding in trade tender processes, bid reviews, and handling subcontractor agreements.
  • Track project progress via updated schedules and proactively identify and mitigate potential risks.
  • Communicate and collaborate regularly with consultants, municipal bodies, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Review project expenditures, invoice approvals, and contribute to monthly budget reporting and forecasting.
  • Coordinate with site superintendents to ensure activities align with scheduled timelines.
  • Participate actively in site safety and project progress meetings.
