Senior Program Manager

Role Overview

We are looking for a seasoned Senior Programme Planner to become part of a significant infrastructure programme team. This pivotal position focuses on project control, handling the development, oversight, and reporting of integrated programmes that drive successful completion of all project stages including design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and close-out.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and upkeep Integrated Master Programmes utilizing Oracle Primavera P6.
• Oversee programme updates, baseline schedules, change logs, milestones, and dependencies within projects.
• Collaborate closely with project teams, contractors, consultants, and delivery partners to ensure programme schedules are well managed.
• Generate detailed programme reports, forecasts, updates on progress, and performance measurements.
• Assist with activities related to cost control, risk management, change management, and project reporting.
• Deliver planning expertise throughout every phase of the project lifecycle.

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Engineering, Quantity Surveying, Project Management, or a similar area.
• More than 10 years of experience in programme planning or project controls on major infrastructure projects.
• Proficient with Primavera P6 and adept at managing integrated project schedules.
• Familiarity with contract environments such as NEC4 and frameworks used in the public sector is highly valued.
• Deep knowledge of cost forecasting, schedule analysis, risk assessment, and project control methodologies.
• Strong communication skills enabling confident interaction with diverse stakeholder groups.
• Experience with transport infrastructure, rail projects, Earned Value Management, and membership in professional bodies like APM, PMI, or Engineers Ireland is an advantage.
