Job description

Role Overview

NHS Highland Payroll Team invites applications for two full-time positions, each offering 36 hours per week. These roles involve managing payroll functions including pensions, family leave, out-of-course payments, and handling complex payment issues. Candidates will be responsible for ensuring payroll deadlines are consistently met with precision in salary payments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer a dedicated payroll section, covering areas such as pensions, family leave entitlements, and non-regular payments.
  • Resolve complex payroll payment inquiries effectively.
  • Organize workload efficiently to meet weekly and monthly payroll deadlines.
  • Maintain accuracy in salary payments ensuring compliance with established procedures.

Candidate Requirements

  • Possession of a professional payroll qualification and/or a minimum of three years relevant payroll experience.
  • Strong customer service skills paired with a collaborative, positive team attitude.
  • Ability to handle competing priorities with accuracy and strong deadline management.
