Job Overview

This role entails comprehensive and detailed design of control and instrumentation (C&I) components primarily for power plants and oil & gas facilities. The engineer will utilize practical expertise in Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) engineering to develop technically sound systems.

Key Responsibilities

Design control and instrumentation items in both basic and detailed phases for power and oil & gas plants.
Apply hands-on experience in DCS and PLC systems engineering.
Determine appropriate sizing for control valves, flow elements, and thermowells.
Develop physical designs including Control Room (CCR) layout, installation, and hook-up drawings.
Prepare loop and logic diagrams to support system operations.
Collaborate on interface engineering between mechanical and electrical packages.
Manage procurement processes for field instruments ensuring compliance with project requirements.
Gain practical experience working with Smart Plant Instrumentation software.
