Control & Instrumentation Engineer

Job Overview

This role entails comprehensive and detailed design of control and instrumentation (C&I) components primarily for power plants and oil & gas facilities. The engineer will utilize practical expertise in Distributed Control System (DCS) and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) engineering to develop technically sound systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design control and instrumentation items in both basic and detailed phases for power and oil & gas plants.
• Apply hands-on experience in DCS and PLC systems engineering.
• Determine appropriate sizing for control valves, flow elements, and thermowells.
• Develop physical designs including Control Room (CCR) layout, installation, and hook-up drawings.
• Prepare loop and logic diagrams to support system operations.
• Collaborate on interface engineering between mechanical and electrical packages.
• Manage procurement processes for field instruments ensuring compliance with project requirements.
• Gain practical experience working with Smart Plant Instrumentation software.
