We are currently seeking a skilled Storeperson to become a key member of our vibrant team located at our Perth branch. Cummins specializes in heavy vehicle repairs and maintenance servicing mining, on-highway, and power generation equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct goods dispatch and receipt transactions using RF scanners.
• Operate hand powered trolleys approximately 80% of the time and forklifts around 20%.
• Create consignments and coordinate transport bookings efficiently.
• Enter data via keyboard approximately 80% of working hours with remaining 20% involving handling boxed items.
• Use forklifts or powered industrial vehicles exclusively to transfer parts between workshops and warehouse.
• Participate actively in training sessions and safety meetings.
• Perform general cleaning duties for about 30 minutes daily.
• Manage daily inventory tasks accurately.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a current High Risk Forklift licence is preferred but not mandatory.
• Valid Western Australia driver’s license.
• Willingness and availability to work reasonable overtime when needed.
• Previous experience in warehousing or stores advantageous though on-the-job training will be provided if suitable.
• Experience in customer-facing roles within a team environment is beneficial.
• Ability to work independently with a strong commitment to safety and efficiency.
• Intermediate proficiency with computers, particularly MS Office and Excel, with ability to quickly adopt new systems.

Educational and Licensing Requirements

• Completion of high school or equivalent secondary education or relevant equivalent experience.
• Certification to operate powered industrial vehicles such as reach trucks, order pickers, and pallet riders.
• May require specific licensing to comply with export controls or sanctions regulations.
